Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2025
Welcome to Manalyzer. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the Manalyzer website, application, and services (collectively, the Service). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Your account
You must register an account to access most features and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account; notify Manalyzer promptly of any unauthorised use or security incident. If payment features are used, certain billing information may be handled by Stripe under its UK agreement; Manalyzer does not store your full card details on its systems.
User content and IP
You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights in the manuscripts, text, and other content you upload or submit to the Service (User Content), and Manalyzer does not claim ownership of your work. By uploading User Content, you grant Manalyzer a limited, non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely to provide and operate the analysis services to you; this licence is only what is necessary to generate your requested analysis, deliver it to you, troubleshoot issues you report, and comply with law. For the avoidance of doubt, this licence does not permit Manalyzer to use your User Content to train AI or machine‑learning models, consistent with the Privacy Policy; the licence ends when you delete the User Content or your account, subject to routine backup overwrites and any legal retention obligations.
Service usage and payments
The Service uses a credit‑based model (Tokens); you agree to pay applicable fees shown at checkout or on the pricing page and applicable taxes, and charges are processed by Stripe as Manalyzer’s payment processor. Fees are non‑refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a posted refund policy, and you remain responsible for keeping your payment method current to avoid disruption of access to paid features.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: upload or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or violates privacy or IP rights; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the Service’s source code; use bots, scrapers, or automated means without express written permission; or interfere with or degrade the Service’s operation or security. If interactive or feedback features are used, you must not introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, misrepresent identity, or use the Service in jurisdictions where such use is unlawful.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting support; upon termination your right to use the Service ceases. Manalyzer may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice for material or repeated violations of these Terms, misuse, non‑payment, fraud risk, or legal compliance reasons, and may delete your account and associated User Content per the Privacy Policy and operational backups lifecycle.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”; while efforts are made to deliver accurate and useful analysis, no warranty is given that results will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or meet specific needs, and outputs are informational/educational and not a substitute for professional editorial services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manalyzer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service, subject to mandatory rights that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms and any non‑contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these Terms
Manalyzer may modify these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in‑Service notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Third‑party services
Payments are processed by Stripe, and your use of payment processing is subject to the Stripe Services Agreement for the UK; Manalyzer is not responsible for third‑party terms and policies.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to the support contact listed on the Service or in the Privacy Policy.
