We've made some exciting upgrades behind the scenes to give you a smoother and more personalized editing experience. Here are some of the biggest updates:

• Regional Critics & Enhanced Memory — Receive feedback tailored specifically to UK or US English. We've also given our critics a significant boost in their memory capacity, allowing them to track character arcs and overarching themes much better than before.
• Story Intelligence Canvas — A powerful feature that transforms how you visualize your narrative. Think of it as an interactive, master notebook that brings your entire story to life by syncing your characters' emotional arcs, intricate plot threads, and complex relationships all into a single view.
• Streamlined & Robust Processing — We’ve completely overhauled how we process your work so that it is now highly streamlined and much more robust. Your longest and most intensive manuscript analyses will process reliably in the background from start to finish.
• AI Fingerprint — Analyses your prose and highlights passages that could trigger AI detectors, giving you the chance to refine them before publishing.
• Zernio Social Media Publishing — The Campaign Playbook turns your analysis into a full launch marketing kit. Connect your social accounts through Zernio and schedule or publish campaign posts directly from inside Manalyzer.
• Worldbuilding & Lore — Automatically builds a living encyclopedia of your story. It maps characters, locations, factions, plot threads, and the relationships between them.

The marketing site has been rebuilt. There's a new Manuscript Health Check widget on the home page and a Compare page — both available without an account. (An earlier "Free Tools" hub with logline / blurb / character-name generators was retired shortly after launch; the Manuscript Health Check remains.)

Marketing copy written by someone who hasn't read your book is generic. The Campaign Playbook is different because it starts from your manuscript analysis — every hook references a real character, every tagline is rooted in an actual theme, every comparison drawn from books your story genuinely resembles.

A professional book marketing campaign would typically cost thousands of pounds and weeks to produce. The Playbook does it in the time it takes to make a cup of tea.

Sharing, Community Books, and the enhanced Book Reader are now live. These features are built to help writers share confidently, gather higher-quality feedback, and grow early readership — without leaving the platform.

You can now choose how direct or gentle your critic is. Critique Tone is a 5-level setting that controls the style of feedback you get. Your choice applies to all future analyses and is shown on each critique as "Reviewed by: [Critic Name] ([Your Tone])".

Deep Analysis cross-checks the critic's findings against the full manuscript, applying revisions where necessary to deliver a more accurate and dependable result. It takes a little longer and uses additional tokens, but it provides the most thorough review we offer.

Manalyzer now supports the .docx file format. Better page-by-page analysis, more precise word/sentence counting, improved dialogue detection, and better chapter and structure detection.

Manalyzer is now in general availability. This version has major changes under the hood, and as such any books on your bookshelf will need to be deleted and re-uploaded. If you don't, you may see some cryptic errors.

We've moved to a new "Extract Once" system. Previously, we processed your PDF every time you requested an analysis. Now, we extract the text immediately upon upload and save it securely. Future analyses start instantly.

The Worldbuilding Analysis now runs a dual-layer evaluation in a single pass: World Consistency and Character Threads. Both are presented in the interactive World Map and in the manuscript report.

Two new specialist tools: a Repetition Analysis (the "muttering detector" — overused words and structures) and a Plagiarism & Originality Analysis that doubles as a stylistic-mimicry check.

We've been working hard behind the scenes to upgrade the infrastructure that powers Manalyzer. These improvements will handle much larger manuscripts, deliver deeper analysis, and produce more accurate results than ever before.

Dynamic pricing that adjusts automatically based on the length of the text being analysed. Short stories (≤20K words) are charged at 0.5×, novels (20K–80K) at 1.0×, long novels (80K–120K) at 1.5×, and epics (>120K) at 3.5×.

Version details during upload, improved help layout, and an optimised experience on mobile devices. Plus numerous behind-the-scenes improvements to performance and reliability.
